You need a minimum Open Water Diver certification (SSI, PADI, or equivalent) to enroll in any advanced course. Some courses require additional prerequisites.
There is no minimum dive count required, but we recommend at least 10 logged dives before starting the Advanced Open Water course to get the most out of the experience.
Both certifications are globally recognized and very similar in content. SSI Advanced Open Water focuses on 4 specialty dives plus a deep dive, while PADI covers 5 adventure dives. Both are priced at $320 USD with us.
