Melasti Tulamben is a muck, black-sand slope, rubble dive in Tulamben Coast, with a working depth range of approximately 4–35 m. The site is known for Costasiella nudibranchs, frogfish, seahorses, ghost pipefish, and harlequin shrimp. Diveable year-round when shore and sea conditions permit. Pebble-beach surf, river runoff, current and visibility vary daily; April–November often brings drier conditions.

Shore entry over volcanic sand and pebbles
Use a slow search pattern, keep fins above sand and algae, and never handle or reposition small subjects.
Use a macro lens, focus light and patient search pattern. Keep fins elevated over sand or rubble, approach subjects slowly and never touch, reposition or crowd marine life. Night photographers should agree light and buddy signals before entry.
Drop Off, also known as Tulamben Wall, begins in shallow water at the southeastern end of Tulamben Bay before falling as a coral-, sponge- and gorgonian-covered wall beyond recreational depth. Its adjustable profile makes the shallower section accessible to less-experienced certified divers, while deeper routes require the appropriate certification, experience and close gas and depth control.
Sunken Island is a submerged island, coral plateau, reef slope dive in Gili Anyaran, east of Gili Rengit, Sekotong, with a working depth range of approximately 5–30 m. The site is known for humphead parrotfish, whitetip reef sharks, green turtles, hawksbill turtles, and blue-spotted stingrays. Deep Turbo is a deep pinnacles, coral towers, drift dive in Northeast Gili Trawangan, with a working depth range of approximately 15–30 m. The site is known for large gorgonian fans, batfish, octopuses, reef sharks, and wahoo. Nusu is a macro, black-sand slope, rubble dive in Kubu, with a working depth range of approximately 5–40 m. The site is known for nudibranchs, frogfish, pipefish, rhinopias, and shrimp.
