Diveable year-round in suitable conditions. April–October often offers drier weather; inshore visibility can fall after rain, swell or sediment disturbance.

Direct shore access to the marked Karang Lestari restoration area
Do not touch, stand on or enter the electrified restoration structures. Maintain careful buoyancy and follow project access markers and local conservation instructions.
A flexible setup works best: use a macro lens for small subjects on sand, rubble and coral, or wide angle for the broader reef structure. Maintain stable trim, avoid stirring sediment and never move or touch wildlife for a photograph.
Ferry Channel is a channel, steep slope, crevices dive in Padang Bai, with a working depth range of approximately 5–30 m. The site is known for whitetip reef sharks, lobsters, giant moray eels, nudibranchs, and turtles. Batu Ringgit is a macro, black-sand slope, rubble dive in Kubu, with a working depth range of approximately 3–25 m. The site is known for frogfish, ghost pipefish, rhinopias, nudibranchs, and hairy shrimp. Gili Mimpang (Wall, Shark Point) is a rocky pinnacle, wall, ridge dive in Candidasa, with a working depth range of approximately 10–35 m. The site is known for reef sharks, trevally, sweetlips, turtles, and schooling fish. Agung Resort Macro is a macro, muck, sandy slope dive in Tulamben Coast, with a working depth range of approximately 5–30 m.
